Initial Job finding

First Post for The new Blog,

What can I say?, For Months and of course Years, alls I have been hearing is how hard it is to find work out there for many people from students to graduates, unemployed skilled workers and those who generally havent been bothered to find themselves a job due to a lack of confidence, Poor attitudes, Unprofessional Behaviours and no ambition. Granted not all them previous reasons are why people dont look or cant get a job as there are plenty of skilled, ambitious and determined people out there who quite frankly can't find a job, or a looking in the wrong places.

I know of a supermarket who have just opened up 5 conveiniance stores within a 50 mile radius, each offering 16 - 20 people jobs, Thats a total of approximately 90 - 100 jobs combined in just 3 months and that is only 1 company in the North West in a small region for said Supermarket. I also know of large companies who are falling into administration and facing possible liquidation due to being unable to compete in these modern times, Nonetheless why does that stop people looking for jobs incase the inevitable happens especially when large companies are opening up vacancies left, right and center.

In regards to those people who are searching for a specific job within a specific salary range, why dont you take a pay cut for a certain time, at least you are then in employment and at least you are getting some wages which will reduce the debt or bills you have? Job sectors can be a tricky thing, As you are aware on the job market, sectors on the market and the openings can vary, and you may have to change sectors to get yourself on the market again, However you have to be careful even so, despite there being jobs there, A job in the wrong sector could have a detrimental effect on your career, as if you are not adaptable enough to change, then your chosen career may falter because of your new work and sector, However As I can see, there are hundreds of recruitment consultant companies out there, which you can always use, These Companies are often forgotten about with job seekers and of course with directgov (job center), go to agencycentral.co.uk and log your area and itll show you which companies recuit for the jobs your after.

Now on a final note before I end this first blog I would like to add that I have much more to add over the coming days and weeks, so bear with me as I bring you more blogs to reach out to those who havent got a job and to explain several things to people and show them a different route which can lead you in to a job quicker than the ways you have tried.

Blog tomorrow,
